The Lutheran Girls’ Hostel Program (LGHP) in Rajshahi is established for Santal girl students — 45 girls are currently staying and pursuing higher education at different institutions in Rajshahi. Beyond accommodation, girls receive opportunities to empower themselves through leadership training, spiritual development, Bible study, prayer meetings, and ICDP caregiver training.

Lia’s sister and father both suffered strokes in 2023–2024, plunging the family into crisis. Despite unpaid fees, she completed SSC and joined the hostel in Rajshahi in 2024. She now studies science and dreams of becoming a doctor — providing free healthcare to those who cannot afford it.

Choytee, eldest daughter of two day laborers, joined the hostel in 2022 for HSC and returned in 2024 for nursing college. The hostel provides a study room, affordable fees, spiritual development, and confidence through cultural programs. She aspires to be a compassionate nurse and role model for Santal youth.
Director Rana D. Mazumder visited the hostel, met all 45 girls and staff, reviewed activities, and encouraged everyone to study smart and achieve their goals through dedication.
Pre-Christmas program organized with BNELC Church members — worship, music, cultural performances, and fellowship bringing the hostel community together.
8 hostel girls received ICDP caregiver training and the Hostel In-Charge obtained her ICDP facilitator certificate — equipping the next generation with positive parenting skills.
7 hostel students successfully passed HSC examination — a milestone for the LGHP program.
1 hostel girl completed her Master’s degree — the highest academic achievement in LGHP history.
8 girls and Hostel In-Charge completed ICDP caregiver training and facilitator certification.
Bible study, prayer meetings, and worship services continuing every week in the hostel.
